Define sharp edges to maintain crisp corners when using subdivision, without needing extra geometry.
While ZBrush is known for high-poly sculpting, ZModeler is designed to work efficiently on low-polygon meshes to create base geometry that can later be subdivided. Top Modeling Features
ZModeler operates through a "Target + Action" system. You select an action (e.g., Extrude) and a target (e.g., Single Polygon), and click the mesh to perform it.
Quickly add thickness to polygons or bevel edges/faces to create complex hard-surface shapes.
Connect two separate holes, edges, or surfaces with new polygons.
This system works in tandem with ZModeler, allowing you to preview a smooth, high-resolution mesh while you edit the low-poly base in real-time. Specialized Actions
Right-clicking or pressing the spacebar while hovering over a component (point, edge, or face) brings up a customized menu of available actions for that specific type of element.
A versatile, all-in-one tool that allows you to extrude, pull, push, add, remove, or merge geometry in one click-and-drag action.
