Believing Selenia is in danger, Arthur rushes back to their underground world only to discover that the message was a trap. The villainous Maltazard, the "Evil M," orchestrated the ruse to trick the Minimoys into helping him use the telescope to travel to the human world. The film ends on a cliffhanger as Maltazard grows to human size and escapes into Arthur's world, leaving Arthur trapped in his shrunken form.
